Sundance Film Festival, palmarés.

La noche del sábado 27 de enero se dio a conocer el palmarés del Festival de Cine de Sundance 2018 con lo que se dio por concluída la versión de este año. Sundance es uno de los festivales más prestigiados en el universo de lo que ahora se conoce como cine independiente y de él han surgido propuestas valiosísimas para el cine contemporáneo.

Por ello es de aplaudir el reconocimiento otorgado a dos películas mexicanas. Por un lado está elpremio a Mejor Escritura de Guión en la Competencia Dramática de Cine del Mundo par el segundo largometraje de Sebastián Hoffman, Tiempo compartido que escribió al lado de Julio Chavezmontez. En segundo lugar se entregó el Premio del Instituto Sundance a los Cineastas del Mundo (una beca que apoya a talentos emergentes) a Tatiana Huezo (Tempestad) por su primer película de ficción, Noche de Fuego. Este premio se entregó también a la cineasta siria Talal Derki por su película Of Fathers and Sons.
